Designed to be both lightweight and affordable, our innovative armor plating is crafted using advanced compressed fiber materials that are expertly embedded with a durable epoxy resin. This unique combination not only enhances the structural integrity of the panels but also ensures that they provide effective protection against various impacts and threats.
The dimensions of each panel are precisely formulated at 12 inches by 12 inches with a thickness of 1.25 inches, allowing for easy handling and installation. Remarkably, each honeycomb panel weighs approximately 9 pounds making it incredibly manageable for users. This combination of lightweight design and affordability does not compromise on safety and performance, making our armor plating an excellent choice for a wide range of applications
The sound dampening technology incorporated into the design is specifically engineered to effectively mitigate the vibrations and echoes that can result from various impacts or explosions. This innovative feature plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall experience by significantly reducing noise levels that can be disruptive or even harmful in certain environments.
Current evaluations have the panels rated around level 3+, capable of stopping up to a 5.56 rifle round. Looking ahead, a series of comprehensive tests are planned to further evaluate the armor's performance under various conditions and threats. These future assessments will encompass a wide range of small arms fire, including not only the standard rifle rounds but also shotgun blasts, which present a different set of challenges due to their spread and impact force. Additionally, the armor will be subjected to testing against explosive detonations, which can vary greatly in their effects depending on the type and proximity of the explosion.
